  • Manage the Student Advisory Board Club. The Student Advisory Board Club is a club that listens to the CENG/EE student's concerns or needs, and brainstorm solutions to solve them.
  • Represent the different class standings and tracks of the Electrical and Computer Engineering department of the College of Engineering at UH Manoa.
  • Be the bridge to communicate and assist with student concerns and suggestions to faculty and industry partners.

SCEL VIP Firmware Team Member

  • Collaborated with a team of engineering students to develop an environmental sensor network to aid in short term forecasting of renewable energy generation across the UH Manoa campus.
  • Program and maintain firmware of sensor modules in C++ and conduct version control with Git/Github.
  • Develop server-side code in Python to facilitate storage and handling of acquired environmental data.
  • Assist hardware teams with debugging of both software and hardware issues.

Impedance Analyzer Team Member, Micro VIP, UH Manoa

Micro VIP Impedance Analyzer Team Member

  • Collaborated with a team of engineering students to create an inexpensive impedance analyzer for cells.
  • Performed hand-calculated analysis of cellular systems to produce theoretical baselines for research.
  • Used COMSOL Multiphysics to model and simulate electrical responses of proposed designs.
  • Implemented proposed impedance analyzer circuit and collected data using the Hioki IM3570.

Awards

UH Manoa Regents Scholar, University of Hawaii at Manoa

Regents Scholarships are awarded to 20 outstanding freshmen who receive an SAT total score of at least 1340 or ACT combined score of at least 29, maintain at least a 3.5 GPA in academic subjects in high school, and whose extracurricular achievements are shown to be remarkable. Regents Scholars receive a full tuition waiver for four years of undergraduate study, $4,000 a year ($2000 per semester), and a one-time travel grant of $2,000.
